In an effort to comply with the recommended “Social Distancing” while still caring for our patients, MIPA will be implementing Telemedicine. Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communications and software to provide clinical services to patients without an in-person visit. Our providers will be using HIPAA compliant video conferencing, similar to FaceTime or Skype, to conduct some patient encounters. Not all visits qualify for Telemedicine. If you have an upcoming appointment that does qualify for Telemedicine, your provider’s office will contact you will instructions on how to access the Telemedicine portal. If you are in need of an office visit during this time of “Social Distancing”, you can contact your provider to see if you qualify for a Telemedicine appointment. MIPA cares about you as a patient and our community as a whole and hope that this effort will help keep us all healthy. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time of uncertainty.
